St. Leo Men’s Retreat
The purpose of St. Leo Men’s Retreat is to present meaningful half-day programs, usually in April and November, to set time aside from the pressures and responsibility of our lives today, to fellowship together and grow as men who desire to walk with God. Topics have included: Saints’ Lives, Prayers, Holiness and Passion of Jesus Christ. The day is started with an optional Daily Mass, then we listen to a topic presented by a couple of speakers, share our faith, sing a couple of songs, and have a small group discussion based on a theme. Together, one step at a time, we are unlocking the full glory of our creation as men in the image and likeness of God.
St. Leo Women’s Retreat
The mission and purpose of The St. Leo Woman’s Retreat Committee is to present meaningful day long programs, usually during Advent and Lent, that enrich faith formation as well as friendship among the women of our parish. Topics have included: Prayer, Forgiveness, Mercy, “Presents…or Presence at Christmas?” and 40 Days of Spiritual Exercises for Lent. Together we share reflections or talks and activities based on a theme. We explore our Christian faith and our response to God’s invitation to love through music, prayer, fellowship, food and fun. We also share a special devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary offering the Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Stations of the Cross among other traditional practices.
